A hearty and satisfying dish featuring beef, fresh broccoli, and ramen noodles, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz ramen noodles
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  5. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch together. Add this sauce to the pan, along with broccoli.
  6. Add a splash of water if necessary and stir well. Cook until broccoli is tender and the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  7. Toss in the cooked ramen noodles and mix until the noodles are coated with the sauce.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Make sure to slice the beef thinly for quick cooking. Feel free to add other vegetables for extra nutrition.
