A comforting one-pan meal featuring creamy cheese sauce and hearty pasta, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups pasta (elbow macaroni or similar)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a cheese blend)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the pasta, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.
  4. Stir in the milk and shredded cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, sauté diced onions and bell peppers with the ground beef. For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with TVP and use vegetable broth.
