A fun twist on traditional crab rangoon, these egg rolls combine a creamy filling with a crunchy wrapper, perfect for parties or cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat (or imitation crab), shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Soy sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a mixing bowl to create a smooth filling.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner facing you.
  3. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the crab mixture onto the center of the wrapper.
  4. Fold the corner closest to you over the filling, then fold in the sides. Roll it up tightly to seal the egg roll, using a bit of water on the edges to help seal it if needed.
  5. Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove the egg rolls and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Notes

These egg rolls can be paired with various dipping sauces like sweet and sour sauce or spicy mayo.
