Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
- Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
- Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
- Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, dip into eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat for frying. Cook the nuggets until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. For baking, place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, until golden and cooked through.

Notes
For extra crunch, double-bread the nuggets by repeating the breading steps. You can also use panko breadcrumbs for a lighter texture.
