A flavorful and simple dish that brings a taste of Korea to your table, featuring tender ground beef and fresh vegetables, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (or any preferred vegetable)
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger to the skillet, stirring until combined and heated through.
  3. Add broccoli (or your preferred vegetable) and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes or sriracha. Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version. Mix in other veggies for added nutrition.
