A delightful dish combining rich salmon with a sweet maple glaze, offering a healthy meal option packed with omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill or in a baking dish.
  5. Grill for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the salmon marinate for a few hours or overnight. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
