A classic side dish featuring buttery seasoned corn on the cob, perfect for barbecues and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 6 ears fresh sweet corn, shucked and cut in half
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, olive oil, parsley, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Brush the corn halves with the butter mixture.
  4. Place the corn on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until tender and slightly charred.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese on top before roasting. You can also experiment with other herbs like thyme or oregano.
